Is GTA 6 on PC?

No. GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. As of 3 November 2026, Rockstar and Take-Two have not announced a PC version, PC release date or system requirements, so any PC download of it is fake. GamesBeat has reported a planned Q1 2027 PC release, but Rockstar has not confirmed it.

  • PC: not announced. On 13 Oct 2026 GamesBeat reported a planned Q1 2027 PC release, citing four anonymous sources. Rockstar did not comment, so it is unconfirmed.
  • Streaming: on 7 Oct 2026 Xbox said GTA 6 will not stream to PC, so Xbox Cloud Gaming is not a way to play it on a PC.
  • Downloads: no legitimate PC download, beta, demo or key exists for GTA 6. Fake ones carried malware in Aug–Sep 2026, according to Malwarebytes and Huntress.

When will GTA 6 come to PC?

Rockstar has not announced a GTA 6 PC release date. For the earlier games below, PC players waited about 7–19 months, and Rockstar announced the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version only about a month before release. Treat these gaps as history, not a forecast.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set in Vice City, in the fictional state of Leonida, where Jason and Lucia are pulled into a criminal conspiracy after an easy score goes wrong. It launches on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as a single-player game, with no date for an online mode. HavocTown won’t replace that story. Crack the vault with your crew

The Money Bank doors open. You and up to seven friends push inside and deal with the guards. The alarm goes off. One of you keeps the drill running while the rest watch the doors. Empty the vault, then fight your way to the drop-off with five police stars on your tail. That’s Rob the Bank: a first-person heist for 1–8 players, with 20 minutes to pull it off.

Want a choice of plan? At the Golden Ace, Crack the Casino lets the crew slip past cameras and guards or go loud, work the timed lock or drill the vault, then hold the limo extraction. There’s no prep-mission chain: both heists run on the shared event clock, so press N for TONIGHT and choose ENTER. No party is needed, and the loot isn’t split between robbers.

Five stars of police trouble

Cause trouble in town and the police response climbs with your stars. At one to three stars, more cruisers join and officers try to stop you; they can drag you out of your car and subdue you. Hit four and they open fire, with pistol officers and drive-by gunfire. Five brings armoured officers with SMGs and shotguns, cruisers that ram harder and roadblocks ahead. And no, The Lot, the crew plaza, won’t clear your stars.

Sometimes the police are on your side. In Precinct Siege, up to 12 players hold the station with them through 5 gang waves. In Kaiju Attack, a giant monster rises from the sea and you hunt it beside the police for 9 minutes. The beta also fixed two old annoyances: police now leave after a chase, and stuck one-star levels clear.

Your first ride can be the Rust Bucket for 2,000 cash. The dealership holds 23 vehicles, from cars and a bike to armoured rigs with weapon mounts, all the way up to the 290,000-cash Road Tyrant. Every payout gets you closer. Paint your car, swap the body parts, add neon, push the performance. Each setup is saved with the car, and pressing 0 calls it to you, with a 10-minute cooldown.

Then build the driver. Every level gives you a stat point: Strength for harder melee hits, Vitality for more health, Agility for more speed. Weapons and armour change the fight too, and your XP, cash and cars stay saved between sessions. Some skins, neon colours and car weapons cost Gold Points, optional purchases for players aged 18 and older. In beta, progress can still change or reset.

Play online with friends now

GTA 6 launches as a single-player game, and Rockstar has announced no date for an online mode. HavocTown is online from your first login. Join the same server as your friends, press P for PARTY and let the leader pick a job from MISSIONS (V): Rob the Truck, Take the Tower or Hunt the Targets, each timed and recommended for 1–4 players. Crew Getaway takes up to 5.

Between jobs, watch the clock: a shared event starts every 5 minutes on one UTC timetable, the same on every server. Outrun the armed gang buses in Gang Wars, or start a Shootout, a best-of-three PvP arena for 2–12 players that anyone can open and join. Bring more friends and missions push back harder, with more and tougher enemies for each extra player.

Click another player to trade, invite them to a party or bring them into your guild. Guilds share a headquarters, The Crib, which grows through 10 tiers from Squat to Empire and comes with Turf War raids and defence. It gives a regular group something to build between heists.

What kind of GTA alternative this is

Before you try HavocTown, know what it is. It isn’t GTA 6, a port, a demo, a mod or a FiveM or roleplay server, and it isn’t affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. It’s a smaller, independent online RPG in beta. The streets use an overhead city camera; you switch to first person inside the heists, some buildings and the Neuroland night club, where it’s fists only.

There’s no single-player story, and it doesn’t try to match a Rockstar game’s scale or visuals. Its worlds are two towns, three zombie hunting worlds and the new Hunter’s Valley grinding world. Palm City has palm-lined avenues, a marina and a beachfront, but it isn’t Vice City or Leonida. Shared words such as heist or wanted level don’t mean identical mechanics or the same breadth of content.

Is GTA 6 on PC?

No. As of 3 November 2026, Rockstar lists it for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, launching on 19 November 2026. Rockstar and Take-Two have not announced a PC version or any PC release date, price, pre-order or system requirements. Earlier numbered GTAs all reached PC, but Rockstar has not confirmed that this one will.

When is GTA 6 coming to PC?

Rockstar has not announced whether or when. On 13 October 2026 GamesBeat reported a PC release planned for the first quarter of 2027, citing four anonymous sources; Rockstar did not comment, so treat it as unconfirmed. In May 2026, Take-Two’s CEO said Rockstar starts on console to serve its core audience first. Earlier PC waits were about 7 months for GTA IV, 12 for Red Dead Redemption 2 and 19 for GTA V.

Can I stream GTA 6 to my PC?

Not through Xbox Cloud Gaming. On 7 October 2026 Xbox said the game launches on Xbox on 19 November but will not stream to PC. GeForce NOW can’t stream it either, because it streams PC versions of games and GTA 6 has none. Rockstar has not announced any other way to play it on a PC, so be wary of any site selling PC access to it.

Is any GTA 6 download for PC real?

No. There is no legitimate PC version to download, and no real beta, demo, repack or key. In August and September 2026, Malwarebytes and Huntress documented fake GTA 6 downloads that installed password stealers, remote-access trojans and ransomware. If a site offers one, close it, and buy games only from official stores.

What can I play on PC while waiting for GTA 6?

If you want Rockstar’s own worlds, GTA V Enhanced and Red Dead Redemption 2 are already on PC. If you want a free online crime game to play with friends, HavocTown is on Windows PC now: bank and casino heists for 1–8 players, five-star police chases and a garage of 23 vehicles. Gold Points are optional purchases for players aged 18 and older.

Is HavocTown GTA 6, a GTA mod or a FiveM server?

No. HavocTown is a separate, independent online city RPG for Windows PC. It isn’t GTA 6, a port, a demo, a mod or a FiveM or roleplay server. It doesn’t need or connect to a GTA installation, and it isn’t affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. It shares ingredients like heists and wanted stars, not code or content.

Is HavocTown free?

Yes. HavocTown is free to play: the download, your account and the game cost nothing. Gold Points are optional in-game purchases for players aged 18 and older, for extras such as VIP (15% more XP and cash), outfits and car parts. You don’t need them to play.

Can I play HavocTown with friends, and how many?

Yes, online on the same server. Crew missions are recommended for 1–4 players (solo works too) and Crew Getaway takes up to 5. Rob the Bank and Crack the Casino take 1–8 players, Shootout PvP runs 2–12 and Precinct Siege holds up to 12. Press P to open PARTY; you can create a party even when you’re solo.

Will HavocTown run on my PC?

HavocTown needs 64-bit Windows and an internet connection, and its PC requirements haven’t been published yet, so we can’t promise it runs on every PC. The Windows PC beta is a 1.1 GB zip from the official Play page. If Windows shows a security warning, stop and contact support. Never turn off your antivirus.

Is HavocTown on PS5, Xbox or mobile?

No. HavocTown is only on 64-bit Windows PC, in beta. PlayStation, Xbox, Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, Android and iOS versions have not been announced, so any HavocTown download for those devices is unofficial. If you’re reading on your phone, bookmark the Play page and set it up on your PC later.

Where can I check HavocTown’s release and download status?
