Essential session cookie
HavocTown uses a first-party session cookie for login state, security tokens and messages associated with account actions. The cookie contains a session identifier; account information is held on the server. Some forms can require a session before you log in.
- Name on this installation
HAVOCTOWN_BETA_SESSID- Provider
- Avomu / this HavocTown website
- Purpose
- Authentication, form security and account-related session state.
- Browser lifetime
- Session cookie; the browser controls when the session ends. Session-restore features may preserve it after a window closes.
These functions are necessary for the account services you request and are not used as consent to marketing. Server-side session cleanup and other record retention are separate from browser cookie expiry. On HTTPS, the cookie is marked Secure; it is HttpOnly and uses the configured SameSite protection.
Optional tracking
The website release reviewed for this notice does not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts or an optional tracking-cookie integration. Fonts and gameplay images are served by the website. No advertising consent is inferred from continuing to browse.
If optional analytics, advertising storage or tracking embeds are added, we will explain them and obtain prior consent where required. Refusing optional tracking must not prevent use of essential account functions, and withdrawing consent must be as straightforward as giving it. A hardware identifier used by the game is addressed in the privacy policy; it is not described here as a website cookie.
External services
Following a Discord link or proceeding to Stripe or PayPal takes you to that provider’s service. The provider may use its own cookies or storage under its own notice. A normal outbound link does not load a Discord widget or payment-provider tracker into this website.
See the provider links in our privacy policy for more information.
Your browser controls
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie prevents login and can stop protected forms from working. Logging out ends the active website session and requests removal of its cookie. Removing a cookie does not delete your account or transaction history.
