Trade the city streets for a wooded outbreak zone. Durable Mosswalkers, fast Rotwood Stalkers and heavy Gravebark Hulks make each camp a different test.

Know the destination
What to expect in Woodland Outbreak.
An online zombie hunting world where your route, equipment and choice of enemy shape the fight.
Woodland Outbreak is HavocTown’s middle hunting world, recommended for levels 15–45. It raises the durability of the enemies you face: even a Mosswalker has more base health than an Apocalypse City Quarantine Brute. The forest’s three camps move from close packs to faster hunters and finally the heavy Gravebark Hulks.
The overlap between the two worlds’ recommended level bands is useful. You can test the Abandoned Logging Camp while still returning to Apocalypse City for a more comfortable hunt. Access is not locked behind a level threshold; your equipment, available health and ability to manage several enemies are better reasons to choose where to fight.
The infected are not confined to the camp markers. Roaming enemies populate the world between hunting areas, so travelling to a destination remains part of the challenge. In multiplayer, choose the same server and world as your friends, regroup after arrival and move toward one camp together instead of splitting immediately across the map.

Abandoned Logging Camp
Mosswalker
Mosswalkers combine 360 base HP with a small amount of armour. They are a sensible first test of whether your current weapon can sustain a woodland hunt. Work on keeping a manageable group in front of you; committing to several durable targets at once can turn a short fight into a long retreat.

Rotwood Stalker
Rotwood Stalkers are the fast hunters of Woodland Outbreak. Their greater health and armour make them harder to stop than the city’s Runners. Watch the space behind your character, and deal with a pursuer before bringing another pack into range. A clear escape route matters more than standing still for one extra shot.

Gravebark Hulk
Gravebark Hulks are slow, heavy targets with 950 base HP and 16% armour. Treat the grove as a step up from the other woodland camps. Prepare for sustained damage rather than a quick burst, make room to move and avoid letting a second Hulk join while you are still working through the first.

Before the first pull
Bring a build you can rely on.
Surviving the encounter matters more than choosing the highest XP number on the map.
Check your loadout
Review more than your weapon’s headline damage. Attack rate, range, level requirement and remaining uses all affect how comfortably you can finish longer fights. Armour and Vitality can help you survive mistakes, but neither is a reason to ignore the faster enemies closing around you.
Start with a Logging Camp fight before moving to the Ranger Station or Burial Grove. Notice whether you are spending most of the encounter attacking or running out of space. If your weapon runs dry or the first group forces an immediate retreat, return to a more manageable camp and improve your build.
Call out Stalkers reaching the group and agree before engaging a Hulk. Friends can help keep attention on approaching enemies while the group focuses a durable target. Multiplayer does not turn every kill into a guaranteed equal XP payout; the training reward follows the game’s credited-killer rules.
Training fits around city life, missions and shared events. You choose when to head out.
How to enter Woodland Outbreak
While alive and fully on foot, press V or open WORLD. Select Woodland Outbreak, then choose WARP or press Enter. Finish or leave any active event first, and wait for an existing travel action to complete.
Friends need to connect to the same server and select the same world themselves. Agree on one of the three camp names as a meeting point. Use WORLD to return to the city or move to another training destination.
Explore carefully between fights
Where gold doorway markers are present, you can enter a building on foot and switch into its first-person view. Look for indoor enemies and loot crates. Stand near a crate and hold E when prompted to open it; rarer crates take longer. Contents vary, and collected crates can restock elsewhere. Clear the immediate danger before working a lock.
How training XP works
The enemy cards show the total for an eligible credited kill: the training reward plus the five-XP baseline. The training portion requires you to be a member of that world, inside the enemy’s combat area and outside the brief arrival-protection period. Indoor enemies also require you to be at their building.
Protected arrival positions and distant shots outside the encounter area do not grant the full training reward. The reward follows the credited killer; a party should not assume every nearby member receives the displayed total. There is no guaranteed XP-per-minute rate, because encounter time, other players and respawns all affect a hunt.
Choose what comes next
When woodland encounters are comfortable, Alpine Deadzone offers tougher armoured enemies in its recommended level 35–75 range. Compare the Frozen Rescue Trail first: the alpine starting enemy already exceeds a Gravebark Hulk’s base health.
Answers about multiplayer, level recommendations, travel and rewards.
How many worlds are there in HavocTown?+
There are five WORLD destinations: HavocTown City and Palm City are the two towns for multiplayer street chaos. Apocalypse City, Woodland Outbreak and Alpine Deadzone are the three worlds for hunting, leveling and discovery. Their nine named hunting areas are places inside those worlds, not nine additional worlds.
Can I explore hunting worlds with friends?+
Yes. These are shared online hunting worlds. Connect to the same game server, choose the same destination in WORLD and meet at a named hunting area. You can also train alone. The credited killer receives the eligible training XP; do not assume an equal party-wide XP split.
Do I need the recommended level to enter?+
No. Apocalypse City recommends levels 1–20, Woodland Outbreak 15–45 and Alpine Deadzone 35–75. These ranges describe the intended challenge, not access restrictions. Start with an encounter you can handle and move up when your equipment and combat skills are ready.
Do hunting worlds follow the global event timer?+
Training travel uses the WORLD panel and does not wait for a global event start. Enemies have their own respawn delays. The EVENTS timetable and mission resets are separate systems; finish or leave an active event before travelling to a hunting world.
Why did a kill give less XP than the guide lists?+
The listed total includes the training reward plus the five-XP baseline for an eligible credited kill. You must be in that world, within the enemy’s combat area and outside the brief arrival-protection period. Indoor enemies require you to be at their building. Shooting from a protected arrival position or outside the encounter area does not earn the full training reward.
Can I return to a town or change hunting worlds?+
Open WORLD with V and select HavocTown City, Palm City or one of the three hunting worlds. You must be alive, fully out of a vehicle and not already loading another trip. Finish or leave an active event first. Each player chooses their own destination, so agree where to meet before travelling.
